Rita Lubatkin just passed away at age 94. I am her grandson David Richman.

Thank you David for contacting me. I am stunned. In their dotage, Rita was my mom’s best friend. They were lifelong friends, forever. Was Rita ill? She was so amazingly warm and the most loving little old lady on the planet! She was so full of love for everyone, especially her grandchildren. She was such a delight, we really missed her when she moved away. Can you send me the address for where they will be sitting shivah? Will it be Robin’s? I feel so horrible for Robin, first her wonderful husband and now Lovely Rita!! Thinking of you all with love and wonderful Rita thoughts, Caryn
